Enjoying the shining sun, laying lazy on the deck of our charming boat, you are sailing along the south west coast to our first stop at the bay of Gavathas with a dream sandy beach with shallow water protected by the Cape Red Rock, creating a small harbor. The beach is ideal for swimming, especially for children.
Departure from Gavathas and sailing to Sigri, an area which is a natural monument with international recognition, you sail along the Nisiopi Island where you can see many petrified trees in the water.
During our stop to Sigri you can visit the Natural History Museum of the Petrified Forest, which is a foundation member of the European Geo parks Network. Admire impressive samples of volcanic rocks, volcanic formations, and eruption models which are presented together with the stratigraphy of the volcanic products in western Lesvos. From the entrance gate you can choose alternative routes and operations set up in the internal and external environment of the museum.
After leaving Sigri you will have the chance to swim at the beach Faneromeni, one of the most beautiful beaches in Lesvos with dunes and crystal waters. Relax letting the breeze to blow through your hair on the way back to Molivos and enjoy another dive in a secluded small bay before return to Molivos.
